B efore the day of pentecost Satan only have one Jesus to deal with. On the day of pentecost, one hundred and twenty people were filled with the Holy Spirit, thus giving them the same power that Jesus had, which enable them to do greater things than what Jesus himself had done.

John 14:12 (KJV) Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.

Now satan have one hundred and twenty people to concentrate his effort on. The baptism of the holy spirit came to give belivers power to propogate the gospel, power to live the new life, Satan saw that his kingdom was under attack, and could not take it any more.

MIMICKING THE BAPTISM OF THE HOLY SPIRIT:

To take on the appearance of. --mim·ic n. 1. One who imitates, especially: a. An actor or actress in a mime. b. One who practices the art of mime. c. He find a way to fake the baptism of the holy Spirit, and is now cashing in on it. Many times in Churches I saw people fall to the ground, speaking in tongues, spitting upon themselves. But it is not every time these things happen it is of the Holy Ghost. Sometime it is just another one of Satan's tricks. The lord did not turn up, it was wild fire, and strange fires.

1 Kings 19:11-12 (KJV) And he said, Go forth, and stand upon the mount before the Lord. And, behold, the Lord passed by, and a great and strong wind rent the mountains, and brake in pieces the rocks before the Lord; but the Lord was not in the wind: and after the wind an earthquake; but the Lord was not in the earthquake: [12] And after the earthquake a fire; but the Lord was not in the fire: and after the fire a still small voice.

IT TAKES ONE TO KNOW THE OTHER:

You cannot know what is evil, until you have an idea of what good suppose to be. You cannot know when demonic spirits are faking the presence of the lord, until you know what the real presence of the lord IS.

WHEN THE HOLY SPIRIT CAME:

Galatians 5:22-23 (KJV) But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, [23] Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.

All these fruits or qualities was already in your life from birth, but they remain dormant. you and I love only those who love us. We love our friends, our pets and all who love us, At the new birth, or at conversion, these fruits were divinely activated and came alive. When we received the baptism of the Holy Spirit, these fruits were taking to a new realm, and as became the very evidence of a life that has the genuine spirit of God in it.

Luke 6:32-35 (KJV) For if ye love them which love you, what thank have ye? for sinners also love those that love them. [33] And if ye do good to them which do good to you, what thank have ye? for sinners also do even the same. [34] And if ye lend to them of whom ye hope to receive, what thank have ye? for sinners also lend to sinners, to receive as much again. [35] But love ye your enemies, and do good, and lend, hoping for nothing again; and your reward shall be great, and ye shall be the children of the Highest: for he is kind unto the unthankful and to the evil.

LIVES CHANGES:

Acts 10:28 (KJV) And he said unto them, Ye know how that it is an unlawful thing for a man that is a Jew to keep company, or come unto one of another nation; but God hath shewed me that I should not call any man common or unclean.

When the genuine holy spirit came, the spiritual chains that bind us fell off.

Spirit Hebrew: ruwach ), occurs 378 times and is rendered spirit 232 times. In the remaining 146 times it is rendered 16 different ways. The Greek word for spirit in the N.T. is pneuma ). It occurs 385 times and corresponds to ruwach above. The primary meaning of both words is invisible force. The spirit of man is the intellect, will, mind, conscience, and other invisible faculties that make him a free moral agent and a rational being. Both the soul and spirit of man are immortal (see Twenty-five Proofs of Immortality of the Soul). They are so closely related that it is hard to distinguish the fine points of difference between them, but there is a difference. This is clear from 1 Thes. 5:23; Hebrews 4:12. In general we can say that the spirit is that which knows (1 Cor. 2:11), and the soul is that which feels.

the Nature of Man.) Both comprise the inner man which leaves the body at death (James 2:26). (4) DO NOT NEGLECT YOUR GIFT:

2 Tim. 1:6 (KJV) Wherefore I put thee in remembrance that thou stir up the gift of God, which is in thee by the putting on of my hands.

2 Tim. 1:6 a[Wherefore I put thee in remembrance that thou stir up the gift of God, which is in thee by the putting on of my hands] Wherefore—on account of your true faith and consecration, I remind you to stir up the gift of God that is in you. Be faithful even in afflictions according to the power of God in you (2 Tim. 1:6-8). The gift is referred to as a fire, which, if not frequently stirred up and more fuel added, will go out. The Greek for "stir up" is anazopureo to kindle up the fire; to add fresh fuel to it. Only here. From this it is clear that gifts can be neglected, as Paul warns in 1 Tim. 4:14. If this happens, if they are not properly used or replenished with continued grace and power from the Holy Spirit anointing they will become powerless and useless and thus fail in their purpose. This is why people need a constant supply of the Spirit—many fillings, as we see in Acts. This is why Jesus Himself had to live in prayer and receive a constant supply of the Holy Spirit (note, Luke 3:21). This is what Paul prayed for and expected in Phil. 1:19; Ephes. 3:14-21.

2 Peter 1:12 (KJV) Wherefore I will not be negligent to put you always in remembrance of these things, though ye know them, and be established in the present truth.

(7) TAKE HEED TO YOURSELF AND THE DOCTRINE:

HOW TO BECOME A CHRISTIAN.

Many people went to court each year and received a terrible sentences from the judge, and because they have no knowledge, they did not know that they could have ask the court for mercy or leniency, and end up knocking off a few years just by asking, it is the privilege of every citizen. Many people died and went to hell and never have the nerve to even ask God for mercy. Is there mercy for a hopeless sinner who has hurt all mankind? Yes!

Isaiah 7:11 (ASV) Ask thee a sign of Jehovah thy God; ask it either in the depth, or in the height above. Isaiah 7:12 (ASV) But Ahaz said, I will not ask, neither will I tempt Jehovah.

First you must recognize that you are a sinner and need God mercy.

Then you must know that God invites you to come to him.

OUR BODY WAS NOT REEDEM AT CONVERSION.

Romans 8:23 (GW) However, not only creation groans. We, who have the Spirit as the first of God's gifts, also groan inwardly. We groan as we eagerly wait for our adoption, the freeing of our bodies {from sin}.

Rom 8:21 that the creation itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the liberty of the glory of the children of God. Rom 8:22 For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now. Rom 8:23 And not only so, but ourselves also, who have the first-fruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for our adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body.

THE SINS OF THE BODY WILL NOT BE CONQUERED LITERALY BY ALL SAINTS WHILE LIVING ON EARTH.

2 Cor. 5:10 (NASB-U) For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each one may be recompensed for his deeds in the body, according to what he has done, whether good or bad.

When the Lord redeemed us our body was not redeem, it was our spirit and soul. The changes took place in our spirit man. Not the body. The body will still continue to sin. If the believer do not know this they will become worried as to why am I still lusting? And became eaten up with guilt to the point where they experience no peace and joy.

Even though our body were not redeem, we who wanting to live up to certain standard, to please society, must bring our body into subjection, even thou we do not do that to buy salvation. But to prevent Satan from capitalized on it. But to bring this body into subjection take time. We saw belivers at the judgment seat of Christ in heaven being judge for the deeds of the body.

1 Cor. 9:27 (NASB-U)but I discipline my body and make it my slave, so that, after I have preached to others, I myself will not be disqualified.

2 Cor. 2:11 (NASB-U) so that no advantage would be taken of us by Satan, for we are not ignorant of his schemes.

Romans 12:1 (GW)Brothers and sisters, in view of all we have just shared about God's compassion, I encourage you to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, dedicated to God and pleasing to him. This kind of worship is appropriate for you.

2 Cor. 12:7 (NASB-U)Because of the surpassing greatness of the revelations, for this reason, to keep me from exalting myself, there was given me a thorn in the flesh, a messenger of Satan to torment me—to keep me from exalting myself!

Taste mean to take a small portion and feed upon it in your own time and style, and when you approved you take more.

FIND SINCARE CHRISTIANS TO BE YOUR FRIEND, NOT NECESSARILY THE ONES THAT HAS A LOT OF DO’S AND DONT’S.

TWELVE PILLARS OF THE CHRISTIAN LIFE.

There are some twelve pillars in the Christians faith and you must start practicing these. Not to get salvation but to improve upon your life.

Daily praying, alms giving, confession of sins, fasting and prayer, daily Bible reading and mediating on the written word, assembling of yourself with other believers, confessing your faith to others, or faith sharing, supporting the ministry with your offerings and tithes, love the brotherhood, perfecting holiness, LOVE THE LORD WITH ALL YOUR HEART, and learning to listen to the leading voice of the Holy Spirit. This is not a twelve commandment, nor a way to get nor keep salvation, but if you master these it will fill your life with daily power, new vision and fresh revelation.

Micah 6:8 He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the Lord require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God?

John 16:13 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.

As you and I walk with the lord from day to day we will just walk right into his will, as we yield to his Holy Spirit. His will, will be unfolded to us.
